I have been working at MCFMP since 2021. I hold a Doctor of Medicine & MSc in Medical Microbiology. I worked in the UK in different hospitals in General Medical, Surgical, Emergency, Intensive Care & Primary Care setting before moving to Australia. I worked in Emergency Medicine prior to specialising in General Practice and completed GP training at various practices across Sydney.
I enjoy General Practice as I can make a positive change in people's life with the continuity of care & a holistic approach. This career offers me the opportunity to care for the whole family & help them in every aspect of their development.
I believe in preventive care & try to implement it in my day to day practice. In addition to my primary degree, I have completed Diploma in Child health and Certificate in Family planning NSW to enhance my knowledge.
I am multilingual and can speak English, Tamil, Sinhalese & Russian. In my spare time, I enjoy listening to classical music.
