Dr Laura Peirson is a registered general medical practitioner. She holds a Doctor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Medical. Science (Honours) from the University of New South Wales and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
Prior to General Practice, Laura worked for several years in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital. During this time, she obtained her advanced diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRANZCOG - adv). She worked as an Obstetrics and Gynaecology registrar with responsibilities including care for women throughout their pregnancies, management of labour and delivery and workup and management of gynaecological conditions.
As a result, she has a great love for women’s health at all stages ranging from family planning, pregnancy and postpartum care, infertility, gynaecology and menopause.
Laura enjoys the full depth and breadth of general practice and understands the importance of having a caring, approachable and reliable doctor for the whole family. She practices holistic medicine with a focus on disease prevention and creation of tailored medical plans.
