MC Family Medical Practice is a private billing practice, but we do continue to fully bulk-bill children under 6 years old and any patients holding a Government Pension Card, Social Security Health Care Card or Veterans’ Affairs Card.
At MC Family Medical Practice we pride ourselves on offering the highest quality medical care in a non-rushed and fully explanatory manner. Therefore our fees reflect both the time spent with your doctor in the consultation, and also the complexity and number of medical issues discussed. Cancellation Policy
We kindly request a minimum of 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel an appointment to avoid incurring a cancellation fee. Late cancellations may also result in a fee, as we strive to accommodate other patients who may need urgent care. Additionally, if you fail to show up for your appointment without any cancellation notice, a fee equal to 50% of the consultation fee will be applicable. Please note that these fees cannot be claimed through your health fund, private health insurance, or Medicare. To ensure the smooth scheduling of further appointments, payment must be made before bookings are confirmed.
