At MC Family Medical Practice we operate under a booked consultation system (no walk in appointments).

Please make a booking by clicking Book Online, or by phoning our friendly reception staff on (02) 9875 2626.

Consultations are by appointment, and our standard appointments are at 15 minute intervals. There are various other appointment types to help cater to your needs. Appointments for complex medical conditions, or matters involving two or more problems will need a half hour appointment, as will the following:

* Women’s Health Appointments – including Pap Smear

* Travel Advice 

* Insurance Medicals 

* Insertion/Removal of contraceptive devices 

* All Annual Health check-ups

 

If in doubt, please feel free to seek advice from our knowledgeable and discreet staff in regard to the length and type of appointment to suit your medical needs.

We do ask new patients to complete a new patient form prior to the first appointment. You can either complete this form at home and bring it with you, or you can complete the form in the practice prior to your first appointment. Please note that your first appointment in the practice will be scheduled with one of our wonderful Practice Nurse who will assist you in the completion of any questions, and the entry of your medical and social history. You will then have a half hour consultation with the doctor of your choice.

'On the day appointments': we reserve a small amount of appointments for patients that need a consultation with a Doctor on the day. Please call at 8:45 to maximise your chances of securing an appointment.

Please be aware that Home Visits are available for patients in the Pennant Hills district who are too ill to visit the practice. If possible, please phone the surgery prior to 10.30 to allow time for the scheduling of the visit.
